Nonwhites of the eyes

Jaundice, a yellow appearance to the skin, is a sign of serious liver problems in humans. Cats too can develop jaundice, though it won’t be evident in the skin; instead, the white tissue around the eyes will become yellow. If the cat is jaundiced, it is probably experiencing various other symptoms of liver disease, such as vomiting, diarrhea and loss of appetite. A vet’s attention is needed.
